Merritt Wholesale Distributors has been supplying the region with candy, tobacco, and restaurant supplies since 1927.
The company has been owned and operated by Sam Stathakis Jr and his family since 1974.
In 2010 Merritt moved into the Janitor and Cleaning Supply business with a team of salesmen in the field to assess and take care of Customer needs. Our Sales team includes Don Little, Bob Triffet, and John Carter or call the office and speak with one of our Customer service professionals to assist you. The group offers more than 100 years combined sales and Customer Service experience
Our added inventory includes bulk and bag-in-the-box soaps, hand sanitizers, masks, gloves, restroom and floor cleaners, degreasers, disinfectants, glass cleaners, floor strippers and waxes, as well as brooms, mops, buckets, and dispensers needed in every type of retail, medical, professional, and service businesses.
Owner Sam Stathakis says "This allows us to service just about every type of business located in our sales area. We've had great success meeting the needs of our current retail Customers and want to emphasize that we will continue selling the products that have been our backbone for the last 90 years. The janitorial and cleaning products are a tremendous expansion to an already successful inventory mix".
Another addition to our product line is Register Tape. We carry a full line of all types of register tape - thermal paper, 2 ply, single ply and more.
We can also provide copy paper along with additional office and break room supplies.
Merritt also has the ability to supply bottled spring water to Customers featuring their business or personal logo on the label at a minimal price. The water will display a label designed by You.
Merritt's sales and delivery staff services Customers in a 60-mile radius of Hot Springs National Park. During the past 90+ years we have delivered Hershey, Mars, Nestle, Wrigley and other confectionery products as well as a full line of tobacco items which includes all major brands of cigars and cigarette products to generations of citizens and visitors. We are also a major supplier of paper and styrofoam products to restaurants, schools, and all types of retail Customers.
Other products include a full line of Gatorade, soft drinks, water, and juices.
